aTypeTrainer4Mac is an excellent application for Mac with which you can learn to type thanks to a collection of 30 lessons (of an ascending difficulty) that include all the characters of your language.
Use the existing virtual keyboard in the lower part to know where to put your fingers and the keys you need to press. Use the metronome to help you follow the rhythm and decide if you prefer the precision in pressing the characters to prevail over the speed.
aTypeTrainer4Mac automatically calculates the number of words and pulses per minute of the user. If you don't like the lessons that come with the program, you can use any text you have stored in an RTF document, a Mail e-mail or the web page you are visiting with Firefox or Safari.
